Alligator bow hunting (sometimes known as alligator bowfishing) a king of the everglades is a challenge unlike any other and we believe one of the more challenging methods to harvest your alligator.  Alligator hunting with a bow is a true test of any marksman, and a rush of adrenaline.  As you hit the gator with the perfect shot, you'll be in rare company.  You can also use a crossbow to hunt your alligator.  Since bows and crossbows are much more custom to individual hunters, we are unable to provide loaner weapons for these hunts, but you can always use one of our other loaner weapons for your hunt at no charge.

Who Can Hunt Alligators and When?

We're experienced in guiding both beginner and experienced hunters on Florida Alligator Hunts year-round. Hunters do not need to be a US resident to hunt on our 60,000+ acres.  A permit (~$52) from the Florida Wildlife Commission is all that is needed for you to hunt with our guides. Don't worry, we'll help you purchase that on the day of your hunt.

Hunt Length & Clothing

Just like with any wild hunt, the time it takes to harvest a gator varies.  On average, hunts last 2-4 hours but could be longer depending on the size alligator we're looking to harvest.  Alligators have good eyesight, so for bow hunting we recommend wearing clothes that will keep you cool in the Florida heat and blend in with the environment.

How Much Are Alligator Hunts?

Hunt costs are based on the size gator harvested and start at just $800 for a 4-6 foot gator. Our guides work hard to help scout and find a gator in your size range, and if you don't harvest a gator, you don't pay.  Our most popular size for alligator hunts are 6-9 foot alligators which currently are $1500.
